For Pet Food and Supplement Brands

Project Pricing Guide

AGeiger Companion Animal Nutrition is an independent consulting practice supporting pet food and supplement companies across Canada and the United States. Led by Andrea Geiger, MSc, the practice works with brands at every stage of product development, from initial formulation and regulatory compliance through to labelling, manufacturing support, and marketing guidance.

Every project is different, so this guide is a general overview of the services offered and a rough estimate of typical costs. Use it as a starting point for budgeting. A detailed, firm quote is always provided once your project scope has been discussed and confirmed.

Services Offered

Support is available across the following areas. A project does not need to include every service listed here. Involvement can be as hands on or as advisory as your team needs, whether that means full project management from concept to launch, or targeted guidance on a single step.

Getting Started: NDA and Consulting Agreement

Every project begins with two signed documents, so your work is protected and expectations are clear from day one.

1

Non-Disclosure Agreement

Protects the confidentiality of your recipes, formulas, and business information.

2

Consulting Agreement

Sets out the scope of work, timelines, deliverables, and payment terms.

Putting these in place before any work begins protects both parties and ensures the project starts with a clear, shared understanding of what will be delivered.
